Verde River Adventure Center
The Verde River Adventure Center is the Sedona – Verde Valley area’s full-service headquarters for any Verde River activity. They are your rental headquarters for Ducky Kayaks, tubes, paddle rafts and oar rafts and all the related equipment you might need for your adventure. They will carry you and all your gear to the river for you, and bring you back to the Adventure Center at the end of your day.
M Diamond Ranch Horseback Rides

Known as the Johnny Appleseed of Pecans, it was Dr. Tinlin that discovered our little valley had the right growing conditions for Pecans 30 years ago and has babied his orchard to produce our fabulous Pecans. This little valley produces the perfect combination of Western, Mohawk and Wichita Pecans. They are golden, delicious and fill out the shell with sweet goodness. Herbicide and Pesticide free our Pecans are pure heaven in any manner of cooking or fresh cracked right from the shell. Verde Canyon Railroad
Postcard-perfect scenery is only part of the magic of Verde Canyon Railroad. The train provides a quiet sanctuary as it travels a leisurely four hours from the charming Clarkdale depot to the ghost ranch at Perkinsville and back. It is a retreat into the heart of the land, and the mood on the train suits the spirit of the journey. First-class cars boast comfortable seating, complimentary appetizers and a full-service bar. Coach offers vintage Pullman-style seating, enormous viewing windows and snack bars. The caboose is your own private car with a personal attendant and private platforms. Verde Valley Wine Trail
Arizona Wine? Who would have thought? Verde Valley, Arizona’s wine country is under-discovered, but the people who have been to the region and tasted the great wine it produces can attest to its excellence. The Verde Valley has similarities to some of the great wine producing regions in the world. It has the sunshine and heat to develop great fruit. Camp Verde is home base to wineries and tasting rooms that are open daily.
Alcantara is the first winery on the Verde River and is one of the largest vineyards in Central and Northern Arizona. Alcantara vineyards has over 13,000 vines and offers 12 different varietals. Try their red and white wines, which will transform your taste buds into the relaxing world of wine tasting. The tasting room is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Alcantara harvests wine in August and September, an event visitor’s are invited to watch.
Javelina Leap Vineyard & Winery is a 10.6 acre estate vineyard, with a fully equipped winery and tasting room. Owners and Winemakers Rod & Cynthia Snapp make their superlative wine one ton at a time, the ultimate in quality control. The Snapp’s believe that passion is the pathway to a great bottle of wine! The entrance is located directly across from the Arizona State Fish Hatchery and Audubon Bird Sanctuary.
Oak Creek Winery
Oak Creek opened in 2002. They use the Arizona sun to achieve the high sugar content they rely on to create their distinct flavors. Oak Creek’s tasting room is open 7 Days a week. Come and relax in their country setting with outstanding wines and excellent gourmet cheese plates. Their tasting room offers a large selection of wine related merchandise.
Page Springs Cellars
Page Springs Cellars is a family owned winery and vineyard tucked into the volcanic landscape overlooking pristine Oak Creek Canyon, just 15 minutes south of Sedona in the Verde Valley. Page Springs Cellars produces Rhone style wines, working primarily with Syrah, Petite Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. It is their belief that to make great wine, you have to take as much responsibility for the land you steward and the community you live in.
White Hills Winery
White Hills Winery is located in the historic Boler’s building at 325 S. Main St. with White Hills Gallery. The winery features wine tasting of regional wines and beer tasting of Camp Verde’s own brewery, the Verde Brewing Company. Wine and beer available for sale, and monthly events scheduled.
